Can's first album isn't really an amazing representation of them, different singer than on all of their classic stuff and maybe less of a focused sound, if that's the phrasing I'm looking for. Try out Tago Mago and Future Days as well, they're both amazing. Also what Brandon said, except Faust IV isn't as good as the debut. Also Popol Vuh, and Cluster, and Neu!.
Oh and thank you, too, I hadn't checked the following page xD Cluster in particular seems like something that could appeal to me. Also, I'm pretty sure Necharsian nominated for some tourney.
Oh dear God that album is beautiful on vinyl. The field recordings blasting from speakers (especially on 'Static') just make you go wow. And then the droning in Sleep, it's just all amazing... I haven't even mentioned 'Storm' yet, I mean the beginning of that, even not on vinyl is just incredible. Yeah, having it on vinyl (especially new without any dust whatsoever on it) makes it sound so much crisper, and I have pretty good speakers as well.
