Yeah shitty cellphone autocorrect. I believe the last tournament failed due to the sheer amount of new albums to listen to, and the time it took to do the first round matchups. If there were to be less albums, there'd definitely be more participation and shorter round times.
This, basically. I personally didn't participate much last time because I had heard almost literally none of the nominees and consequently it would've taken me forever to catch up on the full 128. I would vote we do 32 albums and then maybe do a similar sort of tourney again in the future with different albums.
We should have a Best BEA Parents tournament. Someone can nominate one of their parents and then tell people their tastes and we can vote on whose parent has the best taste. I'll be the foster parent of any orphans who ask. :lol:
I loved the idea of the last tournament, but the problem I had was getting to actually hear the albums (Admittedly that was due to internet problems here, so I presume others didn't have the same problem). I wouldn't mind if Defago's one was resurrected, I just hope it can gather more interest... _________________
