Haven't listened to Faye in years. My old boss was a huge fan after seeing Chunking Express. She's got a really beautiful voice and her Cocteau Twins covers are especially great. Looking forward to revisiting this one.

Her voice is lovely but the music itself feels really really bad to me...it sounds so dated and cheesy, like Enya or something, but worse.

I'll give it more chances though.

She's definitely pretty much a lounge singer. It's been about a decade since I've heard her, so I had to go back and re-listen to some. Not as impressive as I remember.

to save you trouble, here's one she did with Simon from Cocteau Twins

And a cover of the Cranberries' Dreams from Chunking Express. If you've never seen the film. I highly recommend it. Far better than her music.
