One track in, sounds exactly like German 70s koszmiche so far.
Halfway through, will probably have to listen to the rest tomorrow.
Anyway, I'm torn. On short format, they sometimes give haunting freak folk songs like "Go Away, Disappear", probably the best thing I've heard from them. On longer formats, it's hit and miss for me. Some tracks are way too prog-folk for me, other are too reminiscent of German kozsmische to sound daring. Second half tomorrow anyway, maybe the good moments (really great) will surpass the unispiring ones.
Yourself's nom was decent. It got kind of samey and I was always grateful when the strings showed up...It kind of started to drag as it went on...actually it dragged so much I didn't finish it. 😨 It wasn't bad, it just got boring.
Its a grower I swear! Or at least the twisty song structures and constant contrast between the weird/aggressive riffs and yearning/soaring melodic ones took me a few listens to connect with......its sort of subtly melodramatic music? is that an oxymoron?

Nah I think I get what you mean...of the albums I listened to but didn't enjoy, it I enjoyed the most. XD
Edit: Anyways, that Dicks album was boring but I never actively wanted to turn it off. It was decent background music I guess.
This isn't going to be my cup of tea either but hopefully it'll at least be more interesting than the rest..I'm pickier than I thought!
Sounds like Jimi Hendrix or something. But grating. Grating as hell. This first track feels like filler, here's hoping it isn't a reflection on the rest of the record. Okay, this second track sounds like something with more musicality. Too bad this isn't my cuppa tea. Is nothing my cup of tea?! 🤣 I might just abstain on whatever match this one gets stuck with, I really don't want to listen to the rest of this...I'm just skimming albums today!
