What is everyone's opinion on the new Broken Bells album After the Disco? I haven't listened to it yet but I'm thinking of getting it. Am a huge fan of James Mercer and the Shins. I'll probably get it regardless, but I'd like to hear what you guys think.

[After The Disco] really didn't do anything for me. Worth a listen though. It's varied compared to the first album though, so I'm excited to see what their future releases are like, I think that the duo has almost found their groove.

I'd say that's a very sympathetic way of looking at it. I found the album sterile tbh.

It was fun, but not particularly anything special to me. I enjoyed it, but I don't see it ever going near the top end of my chart, even this early in the year.

Went to see Frank Turner last night...was absolutely incredible. Best gig I've ever been to by far. ๐Ÿ˜

Meeting musicians sucks. They are mostly annoying when meeting in person.

The ones I meet to form a band. Anyone who has played the piano since childhood or does all the technical stuff with music, they're all so annoying to be around.

Also one of my favorite Built to Spill moments! I slightly prefer it when he adds the lyrics to that chord progression.

Let's try this fun thing

You guys give me the catchiest indie rock albums of all time. Think wisely (also I mean for it to be ambiguous genre just for you)

The catch is that if you rec me something you give me full authority to make fun of you when you give me terrible music. Sound fun? Well it is. Go!
