Now, nah. I like a lot of Beatles. Deal. I've got a Backstreet Boys album on a chart. Deal. I've got every one of Train's albums on some kind of chart, I think, I've seen them live and I love them. Deal.
It's just Nickelback ...
I'm just impressed / surprised that you made a Top 100 in 6th grade! I think just about anything can be forgiven ๐ But yeah, one thing I thought of as I was making this thread was yes... Nickelback (not a personal knock, just an example of a band that can take a lot of heat)

My grandpa, who's estranged from the family, visited when I was in I believe 4th grade (maybe 5th). I'd only met him once before, when I was very little. He brought with him only 2 things for me - one was a CD he'd made of his favorite jazz sax solos, as he knew I was starting on the alto. He also brought "Rolling Stone Magazine's 500 Greatest Albums", the book. It was the biggest book I owned and had the Beatles on front, so I read the whole thing.
I think I made my first attempt at a chart that night, even, though I stopped at 20. _________________
When I was a teenager, I represented myself as someone who liked Can more than I actually did. I did this to conceal the fact that I actually really liked Nine Inch Nails. I feel bad for having done that, but at any rate I still really like Nine Inch Nails and I'm still really ashamed of it.

Why the shame in liking NIN? I didn't think that would cost you cool points.
Actually I've given Downward Spiral a few listens over the years because I like "Closer" a lot, but I can't get into anything else on the album. So who should be ashamed? ๐
Everyone has their own idea of 'cool' based on the sort of people they hang out with or whatever, but as far as I'm concerned Nine Inch Nails are not remotely cool in any way whatsoever.
Hm. I though this would be more about albums you used to have on your chart but hate now. I'd probably cringe at most of the entries on my first chart, but I'm sure that applies to most people here.
Never been embarrassed by anything on my charts (That includes the Nine Inch Nails and Eagles albums that've spent time in my top 100). _________________
