I've just added one of my fav albums in my chart, it's from a Romanian band called Phoenix that was founded in 1962, almost 40 years ago before the French indie one.
Unfortunately, besteveralbums does not make the difference, and the album is subordonated to the French band.
I'm asking an admin what can I do about this, to create a page for the Romanian band only who is named the same.
The same thing happened to me when I added a finnish band called Snuff but there was already a band from the UK going by that so I just put (Finland) after the band name and it was accepted
The album can't be edited yet as it was only added in the last hour, after that though someone with data mod abilities should be able to help and fix it. There's a similar situation with 2 bands called Nirvana on the site I think so it should be an easy enough fix. _________________
The point is I'd like to add the good artist, but I really cannot see a way to do it. I've added the album and it is fine, except for the fact it doesn't belong to the French band Phoenix.
The protopunk band Death is also listed under the same name as the metal one. If someone with mod abilities could change it, it would be lovely. I think they only have one album, which is called ...For The Whole World To See.

Can I remind people adding an album not on the database to check if it's by the correct artist, because it's a pain having to make a new faux album just to create the band and then assign that album.
Anyway, if for instance you were putting a Phoenix (Romania) record in, you would type the album name in and if it's not already there you'd type in "Phoenix" seeing that albums such as Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix come up. You would know this is not the same band, so put the country next to it, or if they're from the same country, add a decade, and on the off-chance that they formed in the same country and are from the same decade, use the genre. _________________
