Reflektor is overated

Reflektor is a great record but it is not the best album of 2013. I think that the reason why it's rated as # 1 of 2013 is because: 1) It carries the fame of Arcade Fire, so all their fans just put it in a pedestal and give it great reviews, just because it is a record by Arcade Fire, but not because of its own merits. 2) The Best Ever Albums website is overpopulated by indie fans and that distorts the results. In most magazines and websites, the Arcade Fire record does not rank as high as Random Access Memories by Daft Punk and Modern Vampires of the City by Vampire Weekend. I agree that the aforementioned records are stronger than Reflektor. Conclusion: The Best Ever Albums Website is too biased and that is becoming a weakness of this site if you are looking for more objective opinions.
