I love dark beer. Guiness is okay but not as good as some heavier stouts. Dark Belgian malts are yummy too. However, the bestest beer in the world is brewed right here in Canada. It is St. Ambroise Oatmeal Stout brewed by McAusland. After drinking St. Ambroise Oatmeal Stout you will think that all other beers in the world taste watered down. It is not for faint-hearted beer drinkers!

And no I don't work for the company :)

I'm no expert on stout, but the St. Peter's Cream Stout is a good one. I like a Guinness now and then but am not a huge fan of the flat character to it. The St. Peter's feels crisp but still holds all the flavors.

Thanks. If I can find it here in BC, I'll buy some.

Haven't had the opportunity to try it yet.
