It was probably a very shocking album back in 1970. One year after Abbey Road was recorded and only a couple of months after the release of Let it Be and the break-up of the Beatles and this is something completely different by Lennon. Very personal, painful and honest.
Yeah, Domo's verse on 'Robes' is great. He's the most underrated Odd Future affiliate since Vince Staples was so ubiquitously "underrated" that he became overrated. Danny Brown's verse is dope too, and Scarface absolutely kills it (which he had to, if only due to the strength of Gibbs' lyrics on 'Broken'). Raekwon is Raekwon, which is cool. 'Shitsville' is dope, sounds like a Nas song from 1996 that's actually good. The whole album is just incredible tbh.
