I mean I had no problem with Crack the Skye as a progressive metal fan but The Hunter was the most removed boring thing I've ever heard any doom metal-related band do ever. I even dislike it more than I dislike Queens of the Stone Age's later material or Sabbath's 1980s albums. :(

Ugh yeah I'll take a hard pass on The Hunter. Crack the Skye was kind of bad, too. Blood Mountain was alright.

Such a shame since they have one of the best metal drummers in music working in that band right now to have him wasted. 🙁

You didn't like Crack the Skye as a prog metal fan? Was it the whole "I want sludge not prog" effect or what?

Age by The Hidden Cameras

This is sounding way different than I thought it would, almost like Owen Pallet in some ways. Not nearly as good, but still solid.

Most recently been listening to Democratic Solution by !T.O.O.H.!

Keep going back and forth as to whether I love the album or hate it, kinda like most of their output... but it's distinct enough for me to return to it every once in a while.
