I actually hadn't listened to any Bauhaus before this. Kinda wish I'd done so sooner now. Reminds me of a less abrasive and slowed down Scratch Acid. I think I'll check out In The Flat Field later. Great rec, thanks.

Definitely check it out, it's the better album, I just made a bad assumption.

Hey Ben, I totally missed it when you posted. Sorry about that. That said, I'm a longtime King Missile fan. Haven't listened to that record in a couple years, but I remember liking it. Maybe not as much as the earlier records, but there were a few really funny ones.

This was my favorite of theirs as I thought it darker than some others (see the title track), though the humor carried over, for sure.

Ok so I looked to the artwork and thought... It must be a new album from an old jazz band that are making covers of great hits of 1960

And when I listened.... Wow
It's a kind of Hip-pop, It has some rap in the beginning and then becomes a little poppy... I liked it.. not so much, but better than what I expected
By the way Guns for hands is my favorite..

It's actually the 2 guys' grandparents on the cover, fun fact. Also, it's only two guys, fun fact. I know it wasn't a perfect rec, but glad you liked it nonetheless.

No idea if this is what I was supposed to listen to but

Cheikh Lรด's Ne La Thiass[/quote]

Was kinda annoying, really. More than it was music or deep or soulful, it tried to be fun and lively and deep at the same time, I felt, and came out more Enchanted Tiki Room at times than anything more interesting. It was like listening to a couple albums at once with birds going at the same time, not for me.

seacowphil, I see you like Manchester Orchestra and KoC, so here's a band I think sounds like if those two and Bloc Party were combined:

Prophet by Ramona Falls

I don't think I've recced this to someone else here before but I might've, sorry if I did

Shouldn't Antonio's album be for outlaw since he was the last to post an album before him, or am I wrong?

Happymeal, you get:

"Join The Dots" - Toy

It was decent; I liked the sound, but the songs were all too much like every other song. The first track was the best, but even that was kind of boring. I guess I could sum this album up as boring. The main problem I had was everything was too mid - tempo for me. If you're looking for something to chill to, then I guess this might be for you, but there are plenty of other albums that do that better so it's just really mediocre in all aspects. That's not to say it's a bad album though, it sounded good, but I do take issue that it's not at all interesting especially when it has a sound that is similar to plenty of other albums.

The next person will receive:

As this looks to be my album (oh joy another one as just a random person above rather than a personalized ... whatever that's part of the game), how does one find it, since it's not on Spotify?

That guy's voice was really annoying; tooo... whiny I guess, I like it better when he screams. I'm not very fond of the instrumentals too, sorry. The album is ok, but not ma thing

Cheers. I liked it, didn't love it.

It's a good sunshine/power pop album, with catchy melodies and hooks galore. It's very derivative of course, but the strength of the melodies gets the album going easily. I can sometimes be a bit put-off by a more ordinary-sounding sequence ("Hey Brother"/"I'll be Your Lampshade") but all in all it's solid and has that feel all powerpop records should have: songs first.

I'd give it a 70 if I were in a rating mood, 70 meaning "good" by my book.

Bruno, you get...
