If you're new to Joanna Newsom,Arcade Fire I'd advice just checking any album on the charts here u can't go wrong starting from there just exploring the top 50.
I'm more into listening to a band, get to know their names and the history behind the songs etc, so i want bands/artists with consistent work. But i will check here and there some of the top charted 00's albums too at the same time.
It's a weird album that .. well, it changes a lot as it goes. Like I said, he does some of everything. And course! You should make a chart, btw, I'd love to see what else you've liked!
I can't think of my favorite hundred albums yet, my top 100 chart would probably be about the hundred albums i listened between these later years which instead of listen to just a song in it, listen the whole album. Maybe with a top 20 i would me more selective in the choices :)
