This is becoming my favourite album by these guys. Very stripped down, a bit like Young Marble Giants. It's like that old adage that perfection is achieved not when there's nothing more to add, but when there's nothing more to take away.
I'm listening to a Rinse FM set from 29th January 2006, DJ Tubby on the decks and Newham Generals (D Double E and Footsie), Dizzee Rascal and the late Esco on the mic. You canshould download it here. One of my favourite grime sets, and as good an introduction to/representation of the genre as any I can think of.
