That was just evil. This is the second Kasabian record I've heard, and I could only survive about 12 minutes this time. It's just one big stadium rock&roll clichรฉ. There's a couple cool sounds here and there but it seems void of anything remotely raw and personal. Sorry. Just not my thing.
That is the second time someone has said they only got "this much minutes into it". I mean you only have one album to listen to at a time in this thread and to say you could "only survive" so long shows a lack of will power I swear to god. ๐

I've listened to Kasabian before and didn't like them. I had it on and eventually got to a point where I simply felt it was a waste of precious time to continue on rather than listen to something I'd actually enjoy. Have you never done that? _________________ http://jonnyleather.com

I tend to finish media (albums, television, movies) in full so I have an actual opinion on it rather than leaving at any point in time. I understand why others do this, but I personally have to finish things.

I don't like forming opinions on things. It's when people have opinions that trouble begins. Try to keep the I have to a minimun. Doesn't stop me finishing things though.
Todd Terje has made a good album. It reminded me of what I had on this morning, Trance Atlantic Air Waves - The Energy of sound. It was all laid back although I remember the one song with lyrics. Sounded a lot colder on that one.

I really hate gothic metal bands approach vocals. The male female duos in metal just always sounds so fucking cheesy.
I dunno man the slower tracks were pretty forgettable and the faster tracks were pretty gutless
feels like an album i bought for 3$ at walmart because i liked that album art but never actually got more then halfway through listening t it
One thing I did like about this album was how many styles were used, you cant tell it was a pretty ambitious album. Too bad they did not execute any of those styles in an engaging way.
