Meh. There's something about this I can't get into, I'm thinking for the same reasons I don't really like the Cocteau Twins (I don't want my dreamy, epic pop music to sound quite this polished). It's certainly not bad by any means, but it just doesn't really do anything for me. Also, I'm getting those same bland vibes I get from Beirut. I dunno, I love Hospice. But nothing since. Ah well, there's plenty of other great music out there for me to love. I've given this one enough chances now. Maybe in five years.

Wow this is very, very good...
From a RYM review:
"The Brothel is what I'd expect to be playing if the ghosts of a haunted castle threw a dance party on a moonlit night - among the vocals and the electronic instrumentation it's got such an ethereal, unreal quality to it. I bet it would be a smash hit among the elves, too."
