So yesterday I mainly just listened to Open Mike Eagle's latest album, Dark Comedy. It's his best yet, and easily one of the best hip-hop albums so far this year. Could see mecca, SilverWalrus, Squishy, jackwc, Hayden, etc. enjoying it. Naturally, Pitchfork gave it an 8.0.

Olivia Tremor Control fans are gonna wanna check this out. Can't believe you fuckers made me add this album and it's 31 tracks to the database. You better listen. _________________ http://jonnyleather.com

Ooooo 😁 Didn't know they had a new album out. Will listen.
In other, very exciting news, the new Shabazz Palaces leaked. About a month early too, out of nowhere. Really pumped for my first listen 😄 _________________ Doubles & Conch

perfect thing, i hope, to wrestle out of my two month running apathy towards hip hop (and even longer stretch since a brand new one really hit me hard [sorry Pinata])
