How dare you! My 12 year old self would kill you for such blaspheme. I don't love it like I did 20 years ago, but it's still pretty great, if you ask me (which you didn't) _________________ http://jonnyleather.com

Well, I can say without a doubt that my 12-year-old self absolutely despised this album when he heard it. I was skeptical on rating it low/ putting it on this list because it had been so long, but I listened again not too long ago to still find that I despise it. I mean, I respect Claypool for his basslines, but they just sound awful to me. The lyrics are just silly most of the time, and not in a good way. The thing that bothered me most was that they put a song on here called "Bob" about someone's friend killing himself, and Claypool tried to make it sound funky with his bass. This was a little sickening to me, but I guess the reason I just stated is a good enough reason on why you love it or hate it. ๐คฃ

When I was 12, my brother was learning to play bass to Primus, so there's a ton of sentimental reasons for me liking the record. Plus I used to really appreciate the absurd lyrics. Now I'm too serious for my own good, but Bob still doesn't bother me. _________________ http://jonnyleather.com

Yeah, that's completely understandable. Next time I give it a listen (probably never, heh) I'll try and focus more on the little I like about it rather than everything that I hate about it. Agree to disagree, I guess.

If you really wanna give Primus a chance, listen to the Brown Album or Sailing the Seas of Cheese.

I don't deliberately listen to music I dislike, so I really can't make a list of ten, but I will say this:
Squeeze by "The Velvet Underground" (quotation marks because really, it's not TVU. Not even remotely. No.) is the single worst album I've ever heard, without doubt. I would die of shock if I ever managed to hear an album that raped my ears, that horrified me, that made me feel like I'd wasted part of my life more than Squeeze.
