That all sounds reasonable to me (despite my relatively limited experience with hip hop and rapping). My intention was not to criticize people who favor Ice Cube or who think he has greater technical skills -- after all, I do as well. But at the time I posted, it seemed like the thread had turned into an exercise in belittling the original poster for having a favorite rapper who wasn't necessarily considered the "best". That's just not the BEA I know.
