Floor Jansen hands down is the most versatile there is.

Opera, Power Metal, Blues, Growls...Which do you want??? Dramatic Soprano FTW!
The only problem that sucks is until the Nightwish DVD all quality of her in videos was crap. CD is decent. Even when it's good Dramatics are a lot more powerful than what average speakers and headphones are made to handle and it leads to a crap tone of vocal fading even on many expensive pairs. Because they are advertised as quality, but really made for pop vocals and to emphasize bass.

.....OF course...I cant post links...lovely.........

Look up ReVamp Misery's no crime live @ mezz breda.

ReVamp Wild Card live at bibelot

Check out the 2013 live Romanticide from the Nightwish DVD. Those live belts after being on stage for an hour are so powerful and incredible.

And an outstanding classic. Search for After Forever Dreamflight. "dreamflight live.mp4" uploaded by darkangels6sic6.

The problem with that list is that it only takes into account singers mentioned on Rolling Stone's Top 100 singers list. Vintage Vinyl retested this with a greater pool of singers and determined Axl Rose was only 5th. The other 4 were

4) David Lee Roth: 5 Octaves 3 Notes
3) Diamanda Galas: 5 Octaves 4-1/2 Notes
2) Corey Taylor: 5 Octaves 5-1/2 Notes
1) Mike Patton: 6 Octaves 1/2 Note
