Ps: I always planned to listen to Asaf Avidan, I've heard some songs on the radio and he seems good to me, but I've never really went deep into him. I will sooner or later. 😄
And, sorry Pa, I know it's one of your favourite, but I didn't like it too much. It's basically pop with some orchestration. Nothing bad about it, it's okay, but I've found it kinda.. redundant. I'll give it another try, maybe, but don't know when.

Yeeeee psychedelic jazzy guitars! I fell in love pretty much with this. I immediately added to my chart, because I'm so happy about it, though it may falls down after a while. But I hope not, I mean I hope I could always listen to this like I did these days. Absolutely stunning guitar work, and not only. It's an incredible mix of sounds and styles that in the end flows perfectly and, also, fits very well with the summer.
I listened to this for the first time last year, didn't like it too much, and put it apart. Then, after so much time, Yesterday, I decided to give it another try. That because I usually find it high in charts here on BEA: it's very acclaimed here. But.. nothig particular happened. I mean, it's okay, and I totally understand its historical value and all, but I think I'm not getting its beauty. I don't know why, it's really a style that doesn't exactly sound special to me. Is "Closer" very different?
Yeah I like your passion for music but 30+ pages of two users sending recs to each other is a bit much. I'd love to see you involved more outside 'The Mies and pa show' and it was unfortunate that you changed the name of the thread. Looking forward to seeing more of your input 😄
I love joy division and like a lot got into them via new order. They are not the most accessible band by any means but it was funny a few years back when all the post punk revival was going on that all kids that were into that scene were well into joy division. It had become cool to like them along with all the pop post punk. I doubt they all really liked JD. Strange a band like that became sort of fashionable.
New order are the starting point if you are not keen at first.
@Gramae: Thank you, I once watched a documentary about New Order and it was a bit too focused on drugs, but I guess that was the documentary itself. I've never went into them, I will soon, since they are supposed to have that power. 😄
