Strange that De La Soul are not on Spotify when they actually gave fans the chance to download their back catalogue for free not long back.

I think they still have issues with sampling legality, as the laws on sampling then and now are night and day; however, Paul's Boutique and other sample-heavy albums are on Spotify, so I'm not positive.

Yes, that will be why actually. That was the reason they gave the albums away in the first place when I think about it, because they had those issues preventing them getting the albums on iTunes. I just plain forgot. Yeah seems crazy that Paul's boutique is on though.
