Been a while since anyone posted here. I need 90 to 120 (or so) minute ambient, dronish albums that can be listened to passively while still being really good. Kind of looking for stuff similar to Tired Sounds or Refinement of the Decline, I guess. No Winged Victory For The Sullen recs please.

Ah, I've been meaning to listen to that Steve Roach album for ages, this would be a good incentive, plus I've always enjoyed Harold Budd so that would work too. As much interest as I have in Somnium though, I'm mainly looking for these recs for the purposes of reading music, and I don't think I could ever read for seven straight hours.

Ah, I was not aware of that. Well, in that case maybe it's finally time to tackle that album. Thanks for the recs Tonality, if anyone has any more I'd gladly welcome them.
Can someone recommended me something mellow? _________________ "Drink beer, smoke pot, and create something that will storm heaven. That's all I ever really cared about." - Ron House
