^^^ Not all of Trace's song are like "Honky Tonk Badonkadonk".
God bless you and him always!!! ๐๐๐

I like I Came Here to Live, along with a couple others on that album, but Honky Tonk Badonkadonk was the one that got the radio play. And now that is the type of song the industry wants release.
I didnt mean to say that the artist i mentioned are incapable of putting out good music. I really have no business criticizing the artists at all. They, for the most part, are doing exactly what the labels tell them to do. It's actually really sad that people with songwriting ability and vocal ability are pigeon-held into producing such waste.
Fortunately there are enough independent talents singing country music today that the major label record companies have much less of a influence on what I listen to.
God bless you too Holly. Hopefully you consider taking a look at some of my country recommendations. I really think there is some stuff out there that you would enjoy. _________________

I'm not american but I really love country music. When I was a child my father bought me some country vinyls and I was so happy, I guess that I've listened to those recs a hundred times ๐
your chart is so nice, thanks for sharing!
Thanks Pa. Its a work in progress, eventually i would like to limit the number of artists with 2 or more records, so that i can open up some room for some more of the great female acts that country music has (Emmylou) and maybe a couple more current albums that BEAers can explore.
I'm curious what some of the vinyl albums your dad brought you were. _________________

He bought me three records, first one is a various artists collection (rca records) named simply "country music", tracklist goes like this:
1: Tom Dooley - Eddy Arnold
2: Riders in the sky - Sons Of The Pioneers
3: Abilene - George Hamilton IV
4: I'm Movin On - Hank Snow
5: Oh Lonesome Me - Don Gibson
6: Bonanza - Lorne Green
7: San Antonio Rose - The Ames Brothers
8: Yakety Axe - Chet Atkins
1: Mountain Music - Alabama
2: Are u ready for the country - Waylon Jennngs
3: Smokey Mountain Rain - Ronnie Mislap
4: I'm just me - Charlie Pride
5: I've had my limit (of two timing-women) - Razzy Bailey
6: After the love slips away - Earl Thomas Conley
7: Nobody - Sylvia
8: If you're serious about cheating - Leon Everett
I live where country music is practically God and I just can't handle it. Of course there are good country artists, and I don't generally mind if a band has country influences, but after growing up surrounded by the tons of painfully bad country artists it has become most certainly my least favorite genre of music.
Something like this. _________________ follow me on the bandcamp.
