Oh shit it's my jam.
Smash Bros. 64 was actually the first video game I ever played, using Link at all times. I've loved the series ever since. Never owned a console until the Gamecube, though, so I didn't get to spend much time with 64. Melee was a ton of good fun with my 3 brothers (perfect setup, right?) for years and years. Back then I mostly played Link and Pikachu but didn't really know what I was doing.
Melee: Ganondorf
Just about a couple years ago I started playing again with my friends. A certain Falco kept pushing my shit in which was a little frustrating, but I eventually learned the ropes of reading the opponent and mindgames and whatnot. Messed around a lot with Falco, Shiek, and Marth, but never found much success. Then I discovered Ganondorf. Once I learned how to L-cancel, waveland, and do my SHFFLs, I felt like a beast with Ganon. Now I can't touch anybody else in Melee, none of them hit hard enough for me.
Brawl: Zero Suit Samus
Rarely play Brawl these days, but whenever I did I always used ZSS. Her whip gave me a lot of range, which I abused the shit out of at all times. God I love that whip.
Project M: Link, Ivysaur, Ganon, ZSS, Ike
What's that? A mod that combines the content and characters of Brawl with the gameplay speed and physics of Melee? And Link is good?!?! I love Project M, it makes all of my favorite characters viable. Now I can use Link and Ike in a competitive environment without being laughed out of town.
Smash 4 Predictions: Wii Fit Trainer, Palutena, Robyn, Greninja
I'm excited. I know it won't be the same as Melee, but I enjoyed Brawl and god dammit I'll enjoy Smash 4. On the go, too. I'm mainly excited to see how WFT controls, as nothing would bring me greater joy than mopping up the online leaderboards with such a controversial character; The butthurt would fuel me for centuries. Palutena and Robyn also look fun and are probably going to be better fighters than WFT.

Yes it most definitely would.
You guys have got me addicted to Brawl again, now all I need is online play...

SSB64: Pikachu.
As a little kid I made it my sworn duty in life to play as everything cute. My sister mained Kirby so that left pikachu 😜
SSBM: Roy
As a kid I mained Pikachu for the aformentioned reason. A bit later in life, I got really hooked on Roy. He was cute had the right speed imo (even though he was more on the slow side) and his strength/reach was great.
SSBB: Kirby (Marth?)
I've only recently started playing Brawl since the boyf has it. I didn't realize how kickass it was because of all the negative reviews I heard about it. Kirby really clicked with me and while I found Marth unplayable in melee, I dig him in Brawl.
SSB4: ???
I don't really know who I'll end up maining. I'm definitely going to play around with everyone but out of the newcomers, likely Robin. Not only because I really like FE but because his set looks very diverse. It might be a bit too complicated for me.

I tried making one yesterday, but the computer froze. I was at 20 people, too. 🙁 I had some great pictures to go with it.
