Heard this today for the first time, enjoyed it much more than I thought I would. The whole thing has a really uneasy sense of urgency, like if a Hip Hop album could soundtrack a horror movie, this would be it.
Hearing this for the first time too. Beats a little bit more low key than on Moment of Truth, and I'm not sure I prefer that. Guru still sounds as cool as ever, though.

😄 my favorite Gang Starr. I actually like Premiere's more laid-back vibe on this one. Really goes well with Guru's inherent chillness
