Alright, I haven't gotten to your album yet (I will though, I promise, I didn't forget, just been busy), but since this thread keeps dying and you want an album ima hit you up with this and review your album once I get to it (which will be soon)
ah this was lovely. It's like a totally revitalized look at preexisting tech house trends. Those brief vocal samples building in depth over your standard 4/4 beat + hi-hat fanfare added a whole new element to method of techo/house production that's kinda been done to death. "Love Songs" was basically just a really thoughtful take at older ideas of tech houe production, (and I loved it). The only thing I would say is that there are maybe just a tad too few of these creative ideas to warrant some of the song lengths, but that's really the only negative I can derive. Solid album. Likely to revisit it at some point in the future. Thanks Rocky ๐
Alright nachosbob, seeing as I don't really know what you're into, I'll just hit you with an EP so in case you hate it at least it'll be over soon ๐

Glad you liked it. I thought it was an excellent picture of beauty and loneliness. "Love Songs" was definitely my favorite, that "Lately I've been singing love songs by myself", it's such a short line but it packs a lot, it's sad, it's lonely, it's pathetic, it makes you sympathetic, but in its own way, its beautiful, the simplicity of love songs, the longing that entails. Glad you enjoyed it. _________________ Progressive Rock
My Review:
Pretty solid indie pop album, while it definitely didn't do anything new, I still thought it was a very enjoyable listen. The title track and "Long Haul" stood out to me as being very good tracks, and I even enjoyed "The Start of Something" despite its very evident influence from The Smiths. I had never even heard of this band before so props on bringing them to my attention.
My Score: 80/100
While it wasn't new or inventive it was still a very fun listen (plus I really love upbeat indie pop).
I uploaded this to the website the other day... so I might as well make someone listen to it here brun027 you get to listen to...
ah man this was crazy. luckily I love crazy. The way that glitched out industrial syncopation would arrive at these brief moments of harmonic melody and then descend back into this sense of encroaching apocalypse... shit fucked with my emotions and I really dug it. Thanks brun!
oh look I get to throw another album at nachoboy. Once again, I have very little idea of exactly what you're into, so eh what the hell give this one a try
