Suede got me pretty excited in that French female James Chance

Ey I never said such words. They have their similarities but in the end I prefer Buy to that album, though I love both.

Listening to:

Strange Cacti by Angel Olsen

I'm sure this has one of the darkest atmospheres in music.

Ah thanks Gowi! Had I seen your post earlier, I'd have given it a spin immediately, but right now, I'm on this instead :

New Brigade by Iceage

which is a really fascinating record. Punk is one of my very favorite genres, yet this sounds like nothing I've heard so far, and I have troubles really getting into it. There's something about it though, it'll take some more listens, but I think it's a very special record/band.

Ya I know, you just drew similarities between them, such as posting both in the musical random chat for recs. I guess I expected it to be something it's not ๐Ÿซข

I actually think that's their weakest, but it's still very good.

Anyway, listening to...

Torch Song by Radiator Hospital

One of the best of the year so far. Feelgood pop-punk.

They are very special, and Skinny is right, that is their weakest. I'll take a cue and listen to their best to start the morning off.

Plowing Into The Field Of Love by Iceage

Will Anything Happen by The Shop Assistants

Bouncy twee! ^-^

Ow, I like to start with the debut when it's supposed to have some amount of acclaim, but maybe it's not the best idea in the case of Iceage then. Which one should I start with then?

Mambo Nassau by Lizzy Mercier Descloux

Won't have the time to finish it, but I indeed much prefer it to the other one. Pretty bizarre stuff as well, I like it.
