Not the worst Prince album I've ever heard, but not even as good as Musicology or 3121 or The Rainbow Children, let alone everything prior to 1997 (and especially Dirty Mind 😐 ).
Agreed. Not the worst. One or two good things on it even.
After a gorgeous 45 minute first track, this goes a bit downhill, but the first track is the majority of the album anyway. _________________ Doubles & Conch
Hushed, delicate vocals, great fuzzy production, enough twee, enough throwback 70s singer-songwriter stuff. Just lovely throughout. _________________ "I feel like for the last two years there’s been sort of a sonic evolution happening and I’ve been experimenting more and more."
