I was so hoping Songs of Innocence would be nominated for AOTY. I had other hopes, but I was sure this one had, like, an actual chance.

Why are Arcade Fire and Cage the Elephant nominated?? They didn't put out any music this year

The Grammy's have a fiscal year of that starts and ends somewhere in September/October, so those releases still qualify.
