I definitely experience boredom with my favorite albumsโ€ฆbut they don't become any less impressive despite that. I don't listen to Elton John all that much at all yet he remains one of my favorite artists, Pet Sounds almost never cracks my rotation, etc.

Some of my favorite albums from my teen years (or earlier) have lasted: Nevermind, Morning Glory, The Monkees, Purple, all the Beatles albums

Some have not: The Bends, Frogstomp, Ten

I'm not sure I've taken any deep lessons from this. It just is what it is.
