What exactly the criteria for deciding an album's year? Because G-Sides by Gorillaz here is listed in 2002, but the original Japan only edition was released in Dec. 2001.

Whenver it was originally released, digitally or physically it doesn't matter

Yeah if you see the original date is wrongly represented here just make a mod edit (you don't have to make yet another seperate thread for this and clog up the forums

Good spot with the incorrect year but agree there's no point in clogging up the forums to point out corrections. Just make them on the relevant pages if you are sure that you are correct. The forum would be flooded if every correction was turned into a forum post.
