So no one else has heard this yet, apparently ... really really chill experimental house, apparently it's pretty characteristic of their local scene (Vancouver) while still being notably weirder. It's a fun listen, a bit uncomfortable at times, but very intentionally so. Made my top 10 and I feel comfortable saying it'll end the year top 25, this coming from someone who's not big on house.
1080p have been putting out lots of excellent stuff recently, from Moon B to Babe Rainbow to ATM, and this release is also very good, but not quite as good as the new Project Pablo album. So, y'know, listen to that. _________________ 2021 in full effect. Come drop me some recs. Y'all know what I like.

Which release? I Want To Believe or Forgotten Sky Lounge Demos? Both are 2015 things, Forgotten Sky is newer but a lot more on the down-low _________________
Miss the old Sleater-Kinney? Check out Screaming Females. This is their 6th album, and their most streamlined and concise, which finds them channeling a more Riot Grrrl-esque sound. So only listen to this if you want to rock out. Hard. Get ready for some shredding.
As always I have a link

Really good band. They seem to get better with every release. _________________ http://jonnyleather.com
This article on Drake's new mixtape hits the nail smack bang on the head.
"He writes songs from an insular, near-sociopathic, point-of-view unconcerned with the perspective of seemingly anyone besides himself... Drake would describe a sunset by telling you it made him feel hungry."

The first single from Brian Wilson's new album is out. Sounds pretty good, great harmonies, interesting melody, etc. A bit boring lyrically. Super excited for "No Pier Pressure", though, gonna be a great album to relax to this summer!
