No, but it's a great idea, and one I've been thinking about for quite some time; mostly I'm not a live albums enthusiast to begin with, so I feel I should do a top 10 or 20 pick and wonder why I like these when I don't care for live albums mostly. I'll try and do that over the w-e, if I can manage it, I'll leave a note here.
I'm the same way, typically i like the studio versions better. But there are some great live acts, and some live albums just floor me (TVZ's @ the Old Quarter). Surely there are more!
Im trying to compile a list of the ones ive heard to try and get a list started but its pretty week. Bassically im looking for a new chart project. _________________

You're chart is sooooooooo american. It's like a diner in here.
With our Best Year Tournament in full effect, I have spent the past month digging deep through 1978's remarkable treasures. My search has resulted in some really wonderful finds, and refreshing listens of some old favorites. Take a gander and if you're gonna face me in this tournament, beware of this epic epic year.

This is a great idea and I think I'll work on one myself. A good recent one was:

Though seriously, see them live. They're even better live in person than on album, in studio or on this. They open for good bands sometimes, and even headlining, it's worth it. _________________
Yeah Dr. Dog is really great live, though ive never listened to the album. in fact i forget about them alot. They seem to be poorly represented on the site too. shame. _________________

"Alright, now just to reorder these 40 albums, a few seem wrong."
"Oh, there's a typo on the note about Frightened Rabbit's live release."
*misclicks on nothing without noticing*
*hits backspace to fix error*
*back on my charts*
*whole chart deleted*
*2 hours of work for nothing*
The rest still needed ordering but featured obvious choices (James Brown's At The Appolo, Cash's at Folsom, etc) and some great forgotten ones (Yeasayer's live album, Sunny Day Real Estate's Live, Sublime's Bradley and Friends acoustic). Just don't feel like doing this over right now. _________________
Johnny Cash is fantastic live. Go for At Folsom Prison and At San Quentin. At San Quentin carries the famous "A Boy Named Sue." You might also want to try out Soundgarden's "Louder Than Live" promo that was released before the VHS. If you can't find it, the bootleg Fortissimo is the same show. It's on YT. Also check out...
World Wide Live by Scorpions
How the West Was One by Led Zeppelin
It's Alive by Ramones (The only Ramones album I really like)
BBC Sessions by Led Zeppelin
At Fillmore East by Allman Brothers Band
Live at the Regal by B.B. King
Seconds Out by Genesis
Made in Japan by Deep Purple
MTV Unplugged in Athens by Scorpions
The Song Remains the Same by Led Zeppelin
There's also a lot of great live bootlegs by Zeppelin, but you're looking for a chart project on BEA.

Because of all the free time I've had at work lately (it's snowy and crap) I also re-did my 2000s chart so check that out _________________ Progressive Rock
