I'm in an elevator made by hippies and with hippies. The elevator climbs higher and higher into the sky, while birds fly happily by. When the elevator reaches the top, we realize there's nothing there and suddenly we're in free fall going back to earth. Fortunately, the hippies land before I do and I land safely on a pile of corpses, but there's blood, guts, and flowers everywhere. I slowly crawl my way out of the gore-filled peace pile and find the landscape strewn with dead hippies...
The further I crawl, the fewer corpses I pass and the less mangled the corpses appear. Before long, the dead bodies begin to appear posed in casual positions, sometimes even with smiles on their faces. The sky gets brighter and I hear laughing. When I turn around to look behind me, I see the corpses have started dancing...
No longer symbols of death, the mirthful flesh bags insist I watch in comfort and they offer me a recliner. I accept and the world begins to spin gracefully on their axis. There is no nausea, and I am free of cares, but then suddenly the world stops and I'm left alone with single drone of their kind...
He looks at me with curious dead eyes and tilts his head, as much with curiosity as with a lack of living muscle tissue. There is an awkward moment when I realize that his interest in me goes beyond mere curiosity, but before I can even process this fact, his arms are lifted in the sky as if by invisible strings and he has begun a courtship display...
The display is not without grace, but his movements wreak of the inanimate. As my disinterest becomes clear, his image slowly fades and morning springs forth upon an already sunny day. The sounds of a choir resonate in the valley, death now a distant memory, but their faces are lost in the droplets of light rain sprinkling my skin...
The walking dead appear again, this time springing from the ground and enthusiastically joining the choir in a dramatic musical retelling of my adventures. Their enthusiasm gets the best of them, however, and they begin feasting what remains of each other's flesh. Screams mix with celebration and chaos appears ready to take hold. However, eventually they get their fill of each other and those who feasted their fill are able achieve life again, this time in a primitive state. As the scene closes, they are engaged in a ritualistic sacrifice of the feasted upon...
Me, I just shrug my shoulders and walk away.
