Definitely like most of the singles for 1983 and Porcupine is a great great album that deserves more love. But 1993 is a bit more consistently my thing. _________________ http://jonnyleather.com

This is the best matchup I've worked through so far. (I haven't had time to work through more than two or three per week).
Here's how it went down, worst albums to best:
Porcupine > In on the Kill Taker 1 vote to team Bunny (1983).
I think the Fugazi album was the only one of the ten that I didn't like.
Synchronicity > Rid of Me , 2 votes team Bunny
I take that back. I loved PJ Harveys 2000 album 'Stories from the City...', so I had high expectations for Rid Of Me, but, meh, didn't do much for me.
Kill 'Em All < Transmissions from the Satellite Heart, 1 vote to team Bjork
Hurting > Innercity Griots
Hurting was better, but not by much. Griots was the most enjoyable old-school rap album that I've heard, but the haunting Tears for Fears vocals trumped it. 3 votes team Bunny
War > Bjork's Debut
War was the last album of the sets that I listened to. Up until that point, it looked like this:
--Porcupine > Synchronicity
--Synchronicity < TftSH
--Killemall < Griots
--Hurting > Debut
But then I heard War, and U2 knocked it out of the park. I think I liked it better than the Joshua Tree (still not as much as Achtung Baby, but it's now in second place).
Finally 1983 singles >>> 1993 singles. Good choices of singles for 1983; the '93 team won't have that much to choose from .
So the vote goes to Echo for Fears 2: Metallic Police Bunnymen

Kill Them All
Kick Ass
In on the Killtaker
Porcupine
Rid of Me
Great
War
Synchronicity
Innercity Griots
The Hurting
Good
Transmissions
Debut
1983 pretty easily for me. Transmissions is simply good and Debut is fun but rather uneven. Due to the overplayed and obnoxious singles, Synchronicity is highly underrrated. It's an incredibly varied and even eccentric affair for a mainstream pop album.

Yes. Synchronicity is a great record. possibly my favorite Police album. Plus, it has "Mother" and that song is just crazy. _________________ http://jonnyleather.com
