Still not sure. It's heavy going - some of the droning choral elements and twee synth flourishes get a bit too much, and lyrically it sounds awkward occasionally (though not very often, thankfully, and I'm sure that's the point). It has some beautiful moments, and it does hit me hard in places, but at other times I just find myself wishing it would hurry itself along a bit. I can definitely see why so many people love it, and it will certainly make my top fifty of the year, but after five or six listens in struggling to fall completely in love with it. Plenty of admiration though.
Anyway, moving onto...
