Curren$y is one of the most likeable, consistent rappers around. You'll never hear a bad Curren$y project, even if they might begin to blend into one after a while. His stoned, lolling flow is perfect for a chilled out sunny day, and he's returned to his most memorable albums (the Pilot Talk series) with this one, which sounds fantastic so far. He's never going to be anybody's favourite rapper, but he's somebody you can always rely on to supply good vibes and evocative imagery.
