Yeah Im not going to jump in the debate about single recycling, especially with the eligibility issue here, but just wanna give out another reminder for everybody to double-check their single's eligibility before submitting their teams, it makes Defago and Space Tiger's job a lot easier and we don't have to move/retract songs when people have already started voting. Also we do have qualifying-single rules for a reason (em-HMMM), if anybody needs a refresher go back to the original page of the stickied BYT-2.0 thread- or since that may not be up to date just PM Defago, Space Tiger or myself if you have any questions about eligibility or whatever quandry you have.
And I guess on the actual teams I really like that 67 team, esp Are You Experienced, Safe as Milk and Strange Days (which I actually far prefer to their self-titled, mainly for being the weirdo, gothic misfit yin to it's yang), I love parts of Songs for Leonard Cohen but don't think it's great as a whole, same goes with Magical Mystery Tour. Singles are (mostly) strong but not terribly inspired.
And I like that 07 team-- from what Ive heard, which is about 40 percent of it :mrgreen:. Untrue and Refinement are quite excellent though. Will try to fit those unheard albums into the queue before making a decision.
Surprised about the score. Even with the ineligibility debacle, that 2007 team was strong as fuck. Sad to see Untrue on a losing team. _________________ 2021 in full effect. Come drop me some recs. Y'all know what I like.
