Is the British music scene in decline?

Us Brits are very proud of our music heritage however I was just looking at the make up of my decade charts and noticed a huge slump in British artists for this current decade? Obviously my taste and charts alone are not a gauge for concern so was wondering if everyone reading this can check their charts to see if there is anything in this theory. Here are my stats for UK vs US artists for each decade. 2010's : UK 18% US 64% 2000's : UK 44% US 44% 1990's : UK 59% US 36% 1980's : UK 67% US 26% 1970's : UK 50% US 32% 1960's : UK 34% US 57% It's quite interesting that my decade charts show an increase in British artists since the 60's which peaked in the 1980's before a gradual move towards this US dominated current decade.

A lot of the dope shit coming out of Britain isn't rock: grime, UK Bass, garage, etc.

Everyone seem to be leaving out the whole electronic scene from British artist.

Jon Hopkins, James Blake, SBTRKT, Disclosure, Leon Vynehall, Jamie XX, Andy Stott, Daniel Avery, just to mention a few. I dont see any decline in this department.
