Hayden, it seems like you're moving into "later-Truffaut" mode when it comes to this new project fitting into BEAcore. Are you mostly done making crassly experimental and "blatantly rebellious" work like Candles and Who's Masquerade? Or do you think this is just an "accessibility" phase in your career?
This was a group effort, but essentially yeah, this is just an accessible phase. I'd love to go back to doing work like Manner again, which to this day is still the album I feel the proudest about.
BUT, in retrospect, this album was certainly the most fun I've ever had recording. Worked a bit in Detroit, Toronto and even spent a few days in a cabin in the middle of northern Ontario that has a full studio. It was super fun. Everyone who worked on it is up-and-coming, and we know we aren't perfect by any means, but I have a lot of confidence in the two guys I worked with. _________________ Doubles & Conch
