A comedy album, that's cool. Pretty clever satire, I probably would've really liked it more had I been a bit more familiar with the events he was satirizing, but the ones that I was familiar with, he did a really good job, fun stuff.

This was really beautiful jazz, definitely creating a world of its own with the production and sucking you in. Definitely think I'm gonna add it to my 2015 chart.
I like it, really solid jazz album. Didn't blow me away or anything, but a good, enjoyable jazz album that makes use of controlled chaos in a way that doesn't feel too off-putting.

Actually, the album was really enjoyable, full of catchy melodies and hooks and great production. I still don't want people to know that I enjoy this music*, but for a Sunday morning it was really great.

Actually, I just don't want to have another album on my 2013 chart that I have to remove in a year because I can hardly remember it. This is why I rarely listen to "new" albums from previous years in this decade.
Totally thought I did this already, revisited the album. It really wasn't that interesting, but it made me check out Spirtualized's "Ladies and Gentlemen We Are Floating in Space" and I finally "get" that so this has that going for it. This sounds a little too much like a more accessible version of that album without the coherency. Definitely a TV'd up thing, didn't realize it was a soundtrack before. Actually has a few moments that remind me of The Rembrandts.
Appleril you have the most eclectic tastes, it's a little hard to pick, but here's an album I loved from this year that I'm not seeing get as much love as I'd like
I normally don't like this whole "indie-emo" sort of thing, but there's such an unrelenting sort of earnestness to those vocals that it's hard not to be arrested by them. It's able to show the nervous teenager inside of all of us so well, and we can all relate to it.
Definitely interesting. Kind of a disjointed thing, but not entirely. Like sometimes disjointed music can sound chaotic, but there was a kind of beauty in the mess, I dunno, hard to explain. Cool stuff though.
