Cafรฉ by Ah Yeah No Maybe

It's out ๐Ÿ˜

Super excited to release this album. Iโ€™ve been working on it with some guys from Toronto, and weโ€™re really proud of it. The group is called Ah Yeah No Maybe, and the album is called Cafรฉ.

Itโ€™s an instrumental hip-hop album, with R&B and jazz influences and samples. It can be downloaded for free on Mediafire (link in my sig) or you can stream it here.

Even if you arenโ€™t that interested in it, it would mean a lot for you to download it, and it would at least make us feel really good to see the download numbers ๐Ÿ˜

Hoping you like it.

first impression: this is brilliant. definitely the best bea project of all time in my book.

will listen more, but i think this is one of my favorite releases this year, and not just cause you were involved. this is actually really good.

Not sure if it is the best BEA project - anyone want to take a stab at that? - but certainly something that is worthy of high praise and high rotation.

Well done Hayden.

BOREJKO UPDATE!

http://apptronica.co.uk/album/sounds-of-summer - my track "I'm trying to relax and some idiot starts playing house music" is included. Check it out.

https://borejko.bandcamp.com/album/the-crimson-sea - a remix of tracks by me from an Australian artist, Bright Sea. Available 14th July.

And, for the last three Fridays, I have redistributed older Harkan releases on https://borejko.bandcamp.com/ - from Dialect to B.E.A.M. #1 is currently available

More to come each Friday as the back catalogue transfers over, paving the way for my 100th release.

My goal is to release a non-Low Voltage EP under my real name before September hits. Whether this contains nothing but covers or both covers and original songs I'm not sure yet but I want to basically record it as a goodbye to the people around here. IDK

Thanks guys ๐Ÿ˜„ I appreciate it. One of the best times I've had recording an album. We actually have a crazy amount of cuts and alternative versions... for a while, we were planning on having about 1/3 of the songs have featured rappers, but the idea was eventually cut. Hoping some people decide to go over them in the future though.

Seriously I feel like I'm having as much fun listening to it as you did making it. There isn't a weak point on the whole record. I really liked the short length of the songs, kept it feeling constantly fresh and surprising, I loved every turn it took. Honestly it isn't too far from being Donuts. Great work Hayden!

The Crimson Sea

This came out, if you missed it.

Here's another Generator project, which is a sharp turn from the previous releases. This is less electronic, and more avant-garde, I suppose. Either way, I'm actually really happy with this. So, give it a listen, if you want.

So I just finished recording my next album with my last girlfriend, and.....

The album is almost like Only Lovers Left Alive as a drone album, with her and me talking to each other in mumblecore style about esoteric Christianity and the meaning of life to amplified remixes of La Monte Young's The Well-Tuned Piano.

...Yeah, I really don't know if this will be really cool or a colossal failure, but I'm pumped.

My gf is working on a new project and created her first song yesterday; check it out here. It's the best thing she's done yet, is instrumental, very percussion heavy, and honestly interesting.

new amish rage album out soon. first release, peri|in, was very beacore. second release, ambulai (pt. i), was pretty shoegazey. this next one is quite a bit more accessible (in the alternative realm). just finishing up some mixing on it.
