Next 'BEF' Poll Voting

Due to the success of the film lists that were going on for the past few weeks, there's been some interest in a 2000's edition. So. Here we go :D Same rules at the 2010-2015 edition. Same format, etc... You get the gist. Anything with an American release date past January 1st 2000 would be accepted, along with any other international release past 2000. Thus, a film released in September 1999 at Cannes, but was later released in the US in February 2000 would still be eligible. I'm not sure what films this would apply to, but I think this is fair. Documentaries will be allowed, but shorts (<40 min) will not. No films released past December 31st 2009 will be accepted. All lists will be PMed to me, maxing out at 100. The final list will be 100 films. This will be compiled in similar fashion to BEA's ranking system (#1 = 10 points, #2=99 points, etc..) List denominations being accepted will be in entries of 100, 75, 50 and 10. They will all be weighted differently towards the final list (the smaller the list, the small the impact). I'll be happy to start accepting lists whenever. There currently isn't a deadline, but I feel like it will present itself in due time. It will most likely be sometime in late July.

Is it ok if I just post the list through letterboxd? Sorry I'm a bit out of the loop 🤣

Ended up with a 75 entries list, I realized there would be too many films I haven't seen in many years if I went for the full 100. There are already quite a few like that and frankly a lot of the list is kind of in random order as a result...

You put in innocence and then ended the list with Orphan (god I forgot those) and Hard Candy. You are the creeper god. #bowdown

I knew you would appreciate it

The last one just ended 🤣

Probably by the beginning of next week. I have some essays and exams to deal with for the next few days.

Still not even sure which one I'm doing 🤔 I guess whichever has the most votes by Saturday will be the winner. With the obvious interest in both, it could be possible to have both going at the same time though.
