Following suit with a lot of post-hardcore/emo bands before them, they've gone calm. Beautiful Dream Pop/Rock album, some of the best songs of the year. Rated #320 on RYM, no one else has rated it or charted it here ...
One of the best hip-hop albums of the year (high praise given all of the great albums), and the second best MTV Unplugged I've heard, behind only Nirvana. Cro is at his best here, some emotional moments, the fun stays up throughout, and interesting reimaginations of his best songs.
One of the many pop rock singers gone solo actually put out a good album. Not sure if I can recall that happening before. Nice and angsty, but actually channeled into intriguing, almost blues-ish pop rock. _________________
