Brian Eno seems to have been very into using other artists' albums as vehicles for his insinuation of ambient music into the mainstream. i never understood why he never integrated the instrumental, slower bits with the faster, poppier bits as well on others' works as he did on his own Another Green World. luckily, Remain in Light doesn't suffer for it as much as Low does because the "ambient side" doesn't feel so aimless and actually has thematic continuity with the rest of the album.

His work on James' record Wah Wah actually feels the closest in that regard to Another Green World that I've heard from Eno as producer. It's a really underrated gem.

Bowie was influenced by Brian Eno on "Low" but Eno didn't actually produce that one.

True, Visconti is credited as Producer, but Eno did contribute a lot to the record beyond influence.

The stuff Eno did with U2 did a better job at incorporating the ambient music into the singles. "Bad" and "Unforgettable Fire" are fantastic pop songs that envelop the listener in layers of atmosphere.

I always think I'd enjoy this one more if the slow songs and fast ones were more shuffled in the playing order. As it is it's still good though. Born Under Punches is my favorite song by the Heads.
