Still haven't made my mind up about this one. Just seems a little muscular and bombastic at times, especially during the first half. I don't dislike it, and the second half is a big improvement, but it just feels like it lacks identity a little. The strange nuances that I look out for on OPN albums sort of get lost amongst the noise, if they're even there at all. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for electronic music as blunt force sometimes, but I expected something a little subtler in this case. Definitely an interesting listen, though, and my inability to form an opinion on it hasn't stopped me from going back to it so far.
