Movin' on and Machine Gun by The Commodores (although apparently it has no The, according to the bea search engine, they are just Commodores). These are two albums replaced from my old vinyl collection. Movin' on is particularly welcome because it wasn't available on cd just a couple of years ago.
Normally I buy CD's, but if I find something good on vinyl (original, used vinyl) I snatch it up.

There's one of those 'album series' cd sets that usually contain 5 albums but this time only has 3. They are Bobby Womack's 'Home is where the heart is', 'Pieces', and 'The Roads of life', 3 albums spanning 1976 to 79, leading upto 'The Poet' album.
I've only managed to listen to the first one so far but it sounds excellent. Too early on one listen to say if it will make my album chsrt but at the moment I think so yes.
Also my eldest son bought two Peter Gabriel albums, 'So' & 'Us', which he copied and passed on to me, and an Elbow album 'The seldom seen kid' which I haven't had chance to listen to yet.
