Don't know why I stopped playing this. I know I got some C86 album last time but I'm too lazy to find it right now (I think it was Backwash which I've listened to now, and love, in any case)

Anyway Gerhard I see you like some Post Rock and I'm assuming you've already heard Slint's Spiderland so I think you'll like this.

I don't really know how to describe them, funk, blues and jazz is what the album should be called.

Baked, Broiled And Fried by Cookin' On 3 Burners

Surprisingly very good. Kept me energized on my morning commute, the feel of the record is dynamite. A solid funk trio with great use of the Hammond Organ, they seem like they would belong in the early 70's. Holy shit those guest vocalists were amazing. One thing that irked me a little was the mixing a bit and also some of the tracks without the guest singers got a little repetitive (the Feel Good Inc cover felt a little useless) but I really enjoyed it mate. Thanks!

Now for you 8 was 4... seems like you really love B&S I'm gonna give you another Twee Pop record.

Tsukinami by Kanon Wakeshima

way late on this I know...

Anyway, I had a really great time with this one. Instrumentation was lush and upbeat and always seemed to maintain a really distinct sonic personality (I'd say something about it sounding like a more interesting version of certain anime openings but I have very little idea what I'm talking about there. Let's just say I'd be interested in any anime that had one of these tracks playing at the beginning). Very creative and catchy melodies throughout, and just a really solid pop album. Gonna be a pretty regular listen in the near future I reckon. Thanks Gowi ๐Ÿ˜„

Cubaaaa hm try this one out maybe?

I'm pretty picky about my pop, if the beat overshadows the lyrics then I'm over it and vice versa. There wasn't a single moment where one overshadowed the other and the lyrics aren't to bad either. Flawless at times. My only nitpick is that they were hard to understand at times but I'm sure that after a couple of listens I'll pick it up right away. Thanks!

Alright Skinny, here is one for you!

Hope you enjoy!

Pretty familiar with that album. Always particularly loved that Raekwon song, but overall I think the album's a little bland. Happy to listen again, but would prefer another suggestion if you have one. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Don't be, I had the slightest feeling you already listened to this. Let's try this again.
Bada bing, bada boom.

Crossing my fingers you don't know this one.

Haha, another one I'm familiar with, although I much prefer this to the Blakroc album. If I'm honest, it's probably my least favourite Budos Band album, but only because I think they keep improving (slightly prefer II over III, though). Brilliant introduction to their style, however. The one thing that gets me about this one is that it occasionally gives off a cheesy Latino-lite vibe at times, like the sort of music you hear in quirky, off-the-beaten-track coffee shops. That said, it's still excellent. 'Aynotchesh Yererfu' is my jam, and definitely hints at the rockier direction they've gone in their latest (and best) album, Burnt Offering.

So again, my apologies. Keep 'em coming until there's one I haven't heard. Both really good suggestions so far, though.
