Metal is still an acquired taste. I couldn't see 100% of it's members being ecstatic about an Agolloch, Opeth, Isis, etc... getting a repressing.
They released a survey asking members which albums they'd like to see repressed and The Mantle by Agalloch actually carried some steam. But it fell to albums like Kanye's Graduation or Frank Ocean's Channel Orange. Although I'd much enjoy Agalloch, I still would pick a pressing of Channel Orange instead! _________________ ...and for dessert!

Agreed. I forgot that Channel Orange didn't get pressed on vinyl... I've seen bootlegs of it go for $25-$30, but I've decided against it. This might sound odd, but I don't think it needs a vinyl pressing. It's one of those albums that plays better as a CD, or digitally. I dunno. Just my opinion.
Graduation could use a reissue. I think there's only a handful of 1st pressing in circulation. 2007 wasn't exactly the hottest time for mainstream hip-hop to make it on vinyl. _________________ Doubles & Conch

Got it on vinyl for $8 in a used bin, still in the shrink-wrap. Haven't given it a listen yet, but I'm looking forward to it. _________________ Doubles & Conch
Wasn't even going to bother looking in the local Oxfam classical section - which is a graveyard of cheap Bizet, Elgar, and Strauss records - but the rock and pop section was too overpopulated so I had a quick browse, and to my surprise I found one of my favourite albums in fantastic condition.
Was priced at £14.99, but the guy behind the counter had no idea what he was doing and only charged me £4.99. Bang tidy. Listening now, and it sounds fantastic. Honestly the best thing I've ever stumbled across in a charity shop. _________________ 2021 in full effect. Come drop me some recs. Y'all know what I like.
